Guest guest
Hi there! I'm a recent addition to the list and mentioned before that I take care of feral cats -- and I've also been taking care of a very, very sweet, handsome, 7-8 year old neutered male that is obviously abandoned and has burns on his body. I found out he was burned because my neighbor, who does wildlife rehab for SF AC & C took him to the vet for me (I'm in law school) and the vet noticed his scars. This little guy (Mr. Bill) purred through the entire veterinary exam! Anyway, Mr. Bill got into a terrible fight about four nights ago, disappeared for four days and showed up this a.m. injured (broken or infected paw). He's going to the vet tomorrow and is resting comfortably with my wildlife rehab neighbor right now but I desperately want to find a home for this non-confrontational sweet boy who's survived abandonment, burns, nightly vicious attacks from a male cat twice his size, multiple injuries, and mange, but yet is still loving toward people, and will give up his food even when he's hungry if one of the ferals comes to his bowl. [He's also very handsome with white paws and a white bib or ascot and his fur grew back after we got his mange taken care of.] I would take this boy in an instant but my husband said he'd move to a motel if I brought another cat into our converted studio, so I am looking for a peaceful place for this little cat to stay (after he goes to the vet and has a few days to recover) until we move to a bigger place -- probably a year -- and I'm willing to pay his expenses. If you, or someone you know might be willing to help this brave little survivor, please contact me by e-mail or by phone 415-387-2083 [hm]. Thank You!
