Guest guest
Hi to All of you who were inquiring and wondering about Raphael's in Berkeley: The restaurant has billed itself, incredibly, as a vegetarian Italian restaurant. I visited the location (2132 Center St., between Oxford & Shattuck) and reviewed the menu. Unfortunately I didn't get one to take home and they don't post one on their website. (So I am going from memory) They are indeed open for business and have been for months. They are a white-tablecloth type place - read " fine dining " . Their menu includes numerous fish entrees, appetizers, salads and pizza. They feature a lot of salmon. They also feature numerous vegetarian and vegan entrees, salads and appetizers. They use the letter " v " for vegan next to items that are vegan on the menu, and note at the bottom of the pizza menu that any pizza can be made vegan. Entrees run up to 13.95 or so for vegetarian- don't quote me exactly, it might be less. It may have been the fish that was most expensive. This should answer most questions, but if you still have ?? let me know. Marcy
