I received this from PETA. I'm posting it as it concerns Santa Clara.

Dear Activist,

Animals in laboratories need your help! Palmer Chiropractic will be in Santa

Clara on Thursday October 9th, and Friday, October 10th. We are targeting

Palmer Chiropractic for performing spinal manipulation experiments on cats and

rats. Initially Palmer proposed cutting the front legs and tails off of rats in

an effort to make a bi-pedal model for the human spine, but was turned down by

the NiH when the experiments were deemed “inappropriateâ€. Now Palmer has

been

given the green light to torment and mutilate approximately 600 cats and 140

rats over the next 3 years. We will need quite a few people outside leafleting

and holding posters on each of those two days. Ideally, we would need people

at noon on Thursday while the head of Palmer will be present for a student

lunch, and hopefully a good turnout of folks on Friday evening while prospective

Palmer Chiropractic students are having their Luau dinner at 7pm. The

leafletings will be at The Westin Santa Clara located at 5101 Great America

Parkway in

Santa Clara. Please do let me know if you’d like to help out and feel free to

ask any questions you might have.

Thank you!
