Guest guest
Hi All, I got the following note from a friend at PETA. I can't help, but is anyone else game for dinner at Scott's? Janette writes: ......hope you can help with a special mission in your area. We sent a letter to " seafood " restaurants asking them to try faux shrimp and we were successful in getting Scott's to add it! .......There are 2 locations of Scott's Seafood Grill and Bar serving faux shrimp (although there are 9 locations of this chain total). We're going to feature the restaurant on PETA Eats in Oct., and we'd like to verify that the shrimp dish is edible and hopefully even tasty. The chef is located at the Folsom restaurant, so ideally we would send someone there who could congratulate him in person. But at this point, even a visit to the Sacramento location would be great. I'd like to get this done by next Monday, if possible (Fri. would be great). Here are the addresses: 1. 545 Munroe St Sacramento, CA 95825-6489 Ph: (916) 489-1822 2. 9611 Greenback Ln. Folsom, CA 95630 Ph: (916) 989-8653 If you go to the Sacramento location, and the shrimp is okay, could you please (after paying the bill) ask to speak to the manager to commend him on the dish? If you go to the Folsom location, ask to speak with David Lamonica, the head chef.
