Guest guest
Dear Friends, I'm a vegan seeking a restaurant (or two) to eat in this weekend during my stay in Santa Barbara. (I'll be staying in the heart of the commercial area, near State St. and 101, and I'll be car-free.) I've found some on the internet, however a personal recommendation would be terrific! Many thanks. Guest guest
Hi Michael, One of my favorite restaurants in Santa Barbara is The Sojourner. It has a casual easygoing Santa Barbara ambiance, and they serve both vegetarian and vegan dishes -- stews, grains, vegetables, pastas, etc. -- in large portion, including homemade bread. The soups are especially good. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. They serve beer and wine as well. Prices are under $10. It's located at 134 East Cannon Perdido, a block or two south of State Street. Highly, highly recommended. Enjoy! Chris
