Great way to help animals!

I wanted to follow-up from the conversation a few weeks ago -- where we were

discussing the organizations people tend to support in order to do the most good

for animals.

 

I just had to make this suggestion, as it could have a lot of impact.

 

Mercy for Animals is a wonderful grassroots organization based in Ohio that does

amazing work on behalf of animals - they conduct investigations, do open

rescues, etc. (www.mercyforanimals.org). They made a ground-breaking commercial

about factory farms and slaughterhouses and have been able to air it on MTV,

BET, and Animal Planet, amazingly enough!

 

In their latest newsletter, they write " Consumers who have tuned in and seen

MFA's powerful pro-vegetarian TV commercial have been tuning meat, dairy, and

eggs out of their diets...The only thing keeping MFA from reaching countless

more people is funding. Please consider sponsoring this ad. Because of a special

deal MFA has worked out with Time Warner, a donation of just $50 will pay for

this spot to air once. Every dollar makes a huge difference...

 

So I wanted to offer that up as a great way to make a difference for animals.
