Michael Greger, vegan M.D. recommends taking one or

two tablespoons of ground flax seed every day, rather

than flax seed oil. Ground flax seed is easier to

deal with (does not go bad as easily and you can bake

with it) and it contains extra nutrients. You can buy

it pre-ground in grocery stores or grind it yourself

with a coffee or other grinder.
