I need advice on Flax Seed Oil

Hi,

I want to start taking Flax Seed Oil to get Omega-3 fatty acids in my

diet. I was wondering if there are people on this list who take Flax

Seed oil daily? If so, in what form? I'm vegan and I haven't been

able to find any capsules made with Veg Caps. I'm not interested

in " recommendations, " on how to take flax seed oil rather, I'm

looking for first-person accounts of how you use flax seed oil on a

daily basis. Bonus points for low-maintenance! Feel free to email me

directly at msmarymack.

Thanks,

Mary

My " after-work snack " most days is homemade hummus with pita. I make my

hummus using flax seed oil instead of olive oil.

Also, I use ground flaxseeds in most baked goods, in my oatmeal, and

occasionally in smoothies. If I'm making a dish that requires a binder egg

substitute (like the " crabcakes " I made last night), I reach for the

ground flaxseeds.
