Guest guest
Hi all, I think letter writing is one of the best " armchair activist " tools that we have. And it is one of those things that I always want to do more of, yet I don't. There is a wide range of issues to write on, so not having enough is not the reason I don't do it. For me, part of the reason is that sometimes it's hard to think of what to write. And another part is that I like activities where I interact with people and letter-writing is something typically done in isolation. So, I had an idea which would help us figure out what to say and allow letter-writers to interact with each other. We have a bulletin board http://www.generationv.org/forum/ I can open up a new forum for letter writing. Each post can be for a different topic. The first post should describe the issue, and everyone can post their letters for others to see and perhaps inspire / assist them in writing. The letter writing forum can be for any issue that is animal rights or vegetarian related at the local, national, or international level. It's easy for me to set-up but I only want to do it if others are interested and can help me make this work. Also, to use the bulletin board, folks need to register first (it is separate from SFBAVEG on ) Comments / suggestions welcome! Cheers, Tammy Bay Area Vegetarians....
