Guest guest
Hi folks, At previous events we've had exchanges where folks brought extra or unwanted books, videos, etc. to exchange. As y'all know, there is a AR 101 workshop on 8/30 where we will be introducing the basic concepts of Animal Rights and Compassionate Living. So, if there are any books out there needing new homes, let me know and let's see if we can get them to some of the AR 101 participants! Books or videos on animal rights, vegetarianism, or vegan cooking would be super. Cheers, Tammy Bay Area Vegetarians.... Guest guest
Hum... I " ve got the Dr. McDoughal videos that I show to those thinking about changing their diet for health reasons. The videos are great because the debunk all of the nutritional myths that those meat eaters and dairy based vegs bring up. Unfortunately, one set of videos isn't the best for a give away. If you think it would help, I can try to find some McDoughal literature to use at the AR 101. I'm not sure what they have (like all the good PETA stuff), but it may help push people toward our cause if they get over the health hump. Let me know if anyone has good ideas on how to use these videos. I've also got one Mad Cowboy lecture on VHS. - chuck On Saturday, August 16, 2003, at 12:19 AM, Tammy wrote: > Hi folks, > > At previous events we've had exchanges where folks brought extra or > unwanted > books, videos, etc. to exchange. > > As y'all know, there is a AR 101 workshop on 8/30 where we will be > introducing the basic concepts of Animal Rights and Compassionate > Living. > > So, if there are any books out there needing new homes, let me know and > let's see if we can get them to some of the AR 101 participants! > Books or > videos on animal rights, vegetarianism, or vegan cooking would be > super. > > Cheers, > Tammy > > Bay Area Vegetarians....
