Guest guest
Contact: Tammy at govegan Hi folks, We had some folks bow out, so there are three spaces available on Bay Area Vegetarian's 16-person camping trip for next month, Sept 5-7 (not the holiday weekend, the one after). The cost is $10/person plus split of food costs for 3 days/2 nites camping at Butano State Park in Pescadero, approximately 50 miles south of SF. " Butano State Park is a 3,200-acre redwood park in the Santa Cruz Mountains, featuring excellent hiking through the redwood groves. Only three miles from the coast, the park's trails offer views of the ocean. " And yes, there is running water and flush toilets. While the food on the trip will be shared and vegan, you don't need to be to attend. It would also be great if some new vegetarians or vegans joined us (either new to being vegan or vegetarian, or new to the Bay Area) Our camping trips are one of my favorite BAV activities -- it's a combination vegan food party - slumber party - outdoor adventure all rolled into one. If you want to see pics from previous camping trips, please visit the photo album on our group website. http://www.bayareaveg.org If you're interested, please contact me with your name, city (to facilitate carpool planning) and anything else you want me to know. Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers, Tammy Be-a-Veg with Bay Area Vegetarians! http://www.bayareaveg.org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * FREE vegan info kit: http://www.veganoutreach.org/starterpack/free-vsp.html
