Guest guest
> FYI, I wish there were more events in the East Bay. Me too!! If any individual (or other organization) wants to organize a Vegan Food Party or picnic or any type of outing in their neighborhood, or AR/activist event, you are very welcome / encouraged to use the SFBAVEG mailing list. In my biased opinion, I think this mailing list is a *great* resource and opportunity to connect with others in our veg community! BAV has had events in: San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland, Montara, Pacifica, Yosemite, Pescadero, Greenfield, Mountain View, San Mateo, Palo Alto, San Jose..... We even have a page on our website with ideas/info/top 10 reasons about event hosting. http://www.bayareaveg.org/eventinfo.htm So if you don't see the type of veg / AR events that you'd like to do, or you don't see them in the areas you'd like, please consider stepping forward and organizing and hosting. I'm sure others will appreciate it too! So THANK YOU to everyone who has stepped forward to organize events for the broader community, and a big thanks to BAV's own VFP hosts, aka our " Veggie Important People " ! http://www.bayareaveg.org/vip.htm Our local veg and animal rights community is the sum of all of our efforts. Cheers, Tammy Be-a-Veg with us! http://www.bayareaveg.org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * FREE vegan info kit: http://www.veganoutreach.org/starterpack/free-vsp.html
