Double Rainbow is a local San Francisco company that makes both soy and milk

ice creams. Their soy ice creams are, for most flavors, delicious. They

have, I believe, about 6-8 soy flavors. If you want to try them out, they

sell all of them at Rainbow Grocery in SF.

I just wanted to encourage everyone to go to this

event.

 

i have read the book and it is the most powerful and

realistic presentation about the plight of our

companion animals i have encountered. it is about the

animals themselves, their stories, why they end up at

the shelter and what could have prevented it. it is a

testimony to the resilience and faithfulness of these

amazing creatures, and also to the people who work to

give them a second, or third chance.

 

whovever picks up this book and reads just one of the

many stories, i believe, will walk away more educated

and compassionate.

 

also, dharma's has awesome food!! i am pretty much

addicted to their 'soup, salad and rice'. the tahini

dressing and kitcheree soup are yummy! in fact, all

their soups are good.
