Guest guest
Greetings, SFBAVegers! At one of San Francisco Kaiser Hospital's pediatric waiting rooms there is a framed poster directed at children - a circus elephant balancing on one foot on a ball or small platform. Beneath the picture it reads " life is all about balance. " I'm writing a letter to the hospital explaining briefly the horrors a circus elephant experiences and the need for children to experience a community of compassion for animals. I'm going to request that they remove the poster and replace it with another poster of a compassionate nature. My question is: Does anyone have a poster (in great shape, preferably framed) suitable for a children's hospital waiting room that you'd be willing to donate? Perhaps one sitting in storage you're not sure if you'll ever end up using? If so, I could let them know about it in my letter. Perhaps they'd be more inclined to remove the elephant poster if there was a replacement poster offered. Thanks, ~Caity Caity McCardell www.caityandstefan.com Love animals? Please don't eat them, wear them, experiment on them, or watch them as entertainment.
