Guest guest
unfortunately the new owner is looking for another Chef that can cook meat dishes. Currently the Hindu Veg Chef - Gulad Ben (Ben means sister) is still working there. She is one of the best Indian chefs. (Western Style) Gulad Ben and her husband and some of the staff members at Haveli are vegetarians. Anyone interested in a lunch at Haveli this friday at 12 noon? I don't know how the new owner can keep a veg AND a meat Chef at Haveli. The current hours are 11-3:30pm. If all goes well, the owners will open during the evenings. The original owners wanted the restaurant to stay vegetarian, but he wasn't able to find someone to take the risk. -- Tammy wanted a group meal at Shangrila. I was thinking of going there for lunch cause it's so cheap. $4.50 for soup, " egg rolls " and a vegan entree with rice.
