carpooling for BAV events

Hi all,

 

I think it is great to see the carpooling happening for our BAV events! We

had quite a bit of that for a Mt Tam/Stinson Beach hike, and it's also

happened on a casual basis for other events.

 

Emailing to the list is one way.. but it's often hard to find the messages

after they've been posted. So to encourage carpooling, and make it easy,

we've started a new forum called " carpooling " on the discussion board.

 

Posts will stay " threaded " by topic (i.e. event). So if you're interested

in a specific event, you just read that thread. AND -- unlike other

sections of the forum, you don't need to be registered to post in this

one.. You can be a " guest " . However, if you're a guest, you'll need to

remember to check back for replies (or put your email address in your post).

 

Registration is free and simple so we'd recommend that. See the link at the

top of the discussion board. Advantages of registering:

1) Registered users can elect to have an email notify them when a reply is

sent.

2) Registered users can delete or edit their message (to reflect if they've

found a ride or if their car is now full).

3) Registered users can post in all the other discussion forums
