Guest guest
I'm posting this for a friend. Please contact her (info below) if you can help! My housemates recently picked up two stray dogs who wandered into our yard together. Ben and Ivy are very sweet, quiet, and friendly dogs. They must have been someone's pets, because they are so well behaved (and they're fixed). My housemates have posted ads around and on craigslist, and people have been very interested in Ivy, who's a small brown and black dog. Unfortunately, no one wants Ben, who is a medium-sized mutt with hazel eyes. Now, one of my housemates does not want Ben to stay past the end of the week. And because the no-kill shelters are full, she is planning to leave him with animal control. I can't stand the idea of this dog dying like that--especially when I know that he'll make a great friend. I don't know what to do. I think if my housemate knows folks are interested in Ben, then she'll be willing to have him stay on a little longer. Please let me know if you're looking for a great dog like this one, or forward this message to someone who is. Or, if you've got ideas on where else I can take Ben where he won't be killed, please pass them on. I've contacted Hopalong Animal Rescue and In Defense of Animals in Mill Valley.
