Guest guest
Hello All, First and foremost, I would like to thank you all very deeply for a wonderful first year of existence (no, we can't believe it, either). I feel truly blessed each time any of you walk in the door, and are grateful that you support a business that has chosen to support the community and the world. We quietly celebrated our anniversary on the 1st of August, and were planning to have a bit of a potluck party, but couldn't quite scrape together the time. Which is a nice segue into the next bit of news, that I'm getting married this weekend and will be gone for several weeks celebrating the blessed event. Lois is also taking advantage of my vacation and going to the Caribbean for a week, and most everyone else is taking a little time off as well. Our sous chef Kelda will carry on the normal menu in her absence, though we will be bereft of Lois's wond'rous specials for a little while. The upshot is that we're closing for a couple days and will have limited hours for the first week of September. Here is the schedule: Friday (8/27) 8am - 3pm Saturday (8/28) closed (wedding day!) Sunday (8/29) closed Monday (8/30) 8am - 3pm Tuesday (8/31) 8am - 3pm Wednesday (9/1) 8am - 3pm Thursday (9/2) 8am - 3pm Friday (9/3) 8am - 3pm Saturday (9/4) 9am - 4pm (normal hours) Sunday (9/5) closed Monday (9/6) 8am - 3pm Tuesday (9/7) 8am - 3pm Wednesday (9/8) 8am - 3pm Normal hours (8am - 8pm M-F; 10am - 4pm on weekends) will resume on Thursday the 9th of September. Our apologies for any inconvenience, but we promise that we'll be producing even more wonderful things once we're back and rested. Our next special dinner will likely be the last weekend of September, or the first weekend of October -- we'll let you know by email. For those who missed the Tapas Dinner, it was beautiful. Thanks SO much everyone! See you soon.
