Guest guest
Greetings! I usually attend the Taste of Health in Vancouver BC every year. Some other Seattle raw fooders have also attended in previous years. Last year's event saw Loren Lockman (I think that was last year!). This year Doug Graham will be one of the speakers. Yours truly will be one of the chef presenters (though the recipes at the event may not be all raw). Some of you may know Brendan Brazier, a professional triathlete from Vancouver. He is vegan and has an interest in raw foods. He will also be a speaker at the event. Both he and Doug will also be at the Portland Festival, though Brendan may not be speaking in Portland. Tonya Kay, a dancer who toured with Stomp will be at both events, speaking at least at the Portland event (I don't know if she will be performing or speaking in Vancouver.) Many others will be speaking and/or doing chef demos. As I will be doing demos on both days, I plan to drive up early, so may not be available for car-pooling, unless others wish to leave early. I will drive up either on Thursday or Friday (8/12 or 8/13), returning Sunday night or Monday. Consider attending the event. It is usually fun. I enjoy supporting our friends and neighbors to the north. Even though the event is not completely raw, they do embrace and support the raw food movement.
