Potluck & work party tomorrow evening

Hi -

I'll try to get this onto the official calendar. This was a last-minute

idea that I had. We're running out of time on our moving, etc., and we

still need to remove the windows (our sales agreement allows this since the

house will be torn down and the windows are only 1 1/2 yrs old), and that

takes time & work. Also, we have to miss the potluck this evening because

we're so far behind. I suggested to Steve that we hold a " dismantle the

house " party!! He actually agreed to it!! This will get us help but also

allow us to see all of you again.

So, tomorrow evening at 4 p.m., we need as many people as possible to come

and to help us take the windows out, and put some of the old ones back in

(with only as many screws as needed to hold it for the next week or so!).

With enough extra hands, we should be able to make short work of a project

that would be very involved for just the two of us. Bring gloves, prybars,

and cordless drills. Maybe we could even dismantle our raised beds - that

would help tremendously.

Afterwards, you can help yourselves to compost out in back and raspberry

plants (the first-year shoots) and lilacs if you want. There are bulbs in

the front, and a lily in back that still need to be " rescued " .

Then we can follow that with our first (and last at this house!) potluck.

I'll pick up some watermelons, those are easy to fix.

Our address is: 15021 78th Ave. NE, Kenmore

Thanks -

Sue
