Raspberries & sale

Hi, everybody -

For those who haven't heard yet, we've sold our house and are moving (about

3 hrs south). We're having a sale this weekend, Friday through Sunday, 9

a.m. to 4 p.m. (Yes, Helen, I'm going to put a few of my houseplants in the

sale. I have too many to put into a 5th wheel.) If anybody is interested

in doors or windows, light fixtures, gas fireplace insert, and/or a tankless

gas-fired water heater, be sure to bring your tools - this is a " u-pull "

operation! (Although there is one window that isn't installed, and two

exterior doors that aren't installed.) Most of these items are fairly new -

1 1/2 yrs old for the doors & windows & fireplace insert, 4 years for the

water heater.

A bit of a dilemma that I have is that my raspberries are ripe, and I don't

have time to pick them! (Except for munching here and there.) If anybody

would like to come and pick them on Saturday, and bring them to Linda's

potluck, that would be super. They are organic, and they are wonderful!!

We probably will go to the potluck (we really will need the break from our

work), but I don't have time to fix anything (plus everything is rapidly

being packed up & stowed away). I'd thought of bringing a watermelon, but

those raspberries would be really good.

Anybody who comes for that purpose, be sure to wear long pants & sturdy

shoes - the raspberry patch is a bit of a jungle.

Thanks -

Sue
