Raw food tasting event on Father's Day at Madison Market

On Father's day, Madison Market will be offering free samples of many of their

raw food

products including Livin' Spoonful's hummus and crackers and Smart Monkey Foods

seed

Cheeze and desserts. The tasting will be from 2-5 pm.

 

It seems that there have been some issues in the past with Madison Market not

ordering

enough of our products to keep from running out. Recently, I had a conversation

with the

Grocery Department Manager, Tim Zerkel, and he affirmed his personal commitment

to

making sure that there will always be raw products on the shelves. I encourage

all you

Seattlites who shop their to write a note or personally thank the staff at

Madison Market

for putting the needs of our raw community high on the list. From a vendor's

perspective,

they have been great to work with. Their commitment is helping us at Livin'

Spoonful to

get closer to the point of profitability that we need to continue our mission.
