Guest guest
Norm, I wanted to thank you for this link also. I'd just started bike commuting to work last week, doing the hilly 30 mile one-way ride 3 times. However, I was concerned about whether I could get enough calories to maintain weight and health under the conditions. Ruth clearly demonstrates that it's possible. Does anyone know of a website that gives more details on raw diet for endurance athletes? Thanks. Guest guest
Nick, I remember she said that she needed 5000 caleries per day. It was about 6 years ago I heard her speaking in Olympia at a vegan convention. People asked what she ate. I just remember she mentioned bananas ans brown rice, pretty much McDougall Diet. That was before she turned raw. Helen - " Nick " <nick.hein <RawSeattle > Monday, May 31, 2004 4:04 AM Re: [RawSeattle] 24 carrot award > Norm, > I wanted to thank you for this link also.
