Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Check this out. It's a highly informative show I saw lastnigth on Scientific American. This episode explained everything I wanted to know about alternative vehicle energies, including a great detailed explanation on how hydrogen engines work. You can watch online http://www.pbs.org/saf/1403/video/watchonline.htm?user2=pbs-saf & template2=publis\ hmain.html & query2=1403 & squery2=squery%3D%252BClipID%3A3%2B%252BVideoAsset%3Apbss\ af1403 & select=1439501 & submit2=GO. If this doesn't work , go to www.pbs.org , look for the " Science and nature button " , then hit the " Scientific America:future car " button, then hit " watch online " . A show which, interestingly, premiered on May 19. It is possible to rely on sun and air you will find, in fact, that is our only real salvation, and In fact there is Battery technology that gets a high range of mileage (300 miles, 0-60 in 4 seconds), and its very exciting. All very interesting and hopeful. There is an online transcript of an NPR All Things Considered " episode " on Gaviotas: http://www.dharma-haven.org/five-havens/weisman.htm Annette RawSeattle , " Nick " <nick.hein@v...> wrote: .... a colony in the wilderness with sustainable building, farming and government.
