Guest guest
Another alternative would be to buy an electric motorcycle. There is a company right here in Bellevue that sells an electric bike that can travel up to 60 mph and go 60 miles on a charge (or 100 miles with an auxiliary power pack). That would cover any round trip of 30 to 50 miles, which is quite a distance. I would buy one tomorrow if I had the money and wasn't making payments on the car I have. Check out: http://motorcyclecity.com/electric-hybrid/esarati.htm http://www.esarati.com/motorbikes.htm or http://www.electric-bikes.com/motorcys.htm With some predicting gas prices to go to $3 a gallon, this would save a LOT of money for those who drive a lot of short distances, plus put out zero emissions and reduce our nation's need for petroleum.
