That is a strong statement to make, that ALL Japanese are eating

salmon EVERY day. The FDA has a web page on the effects of eating

excess methyl mercury from fish, and it mentions two incidents in

Japan that happened in the 1960s where over 100 people were

poisoned. The FDA's limit for methyl mercury in fish is 1 ppm. The

fish in these instances were mostly 9 to 24 ppm, with some being as

high as 40 ppm. Check out

http://www.fda.gov/fdac/reprints/mercury.html

By far the most toxic source of mercury is amalgam fillings, because

it is sealed into your tooth and will only continue to leak out into

the body every day for years until it is depleted. Also the risk to

an unborn child is very real, as methyl mercury crosses the placenta

and can damage the baby's developing nervous system. A while back I

posted regarding studies published that put Puget Sound fish being

higher in pollutants than fish in other areas of the world.

I meant generally. Maybe one day out of 20 somebody does not eat fish, but

generally all my Japanese and Vietnamese friends are eating fish for dinner

EVERY day.

This is your body type, according to Ayurveda, you are Vata type.

The link I already mentioned before:

You can gain some weight if you stop aggravating your Vata dosha.

I thought too I can't make my kid to gain weight regardless what he eats. But

when we went to Hawaii in November, the weather was soooo nice, sunny, not hot,

we were spending all days on a beach, playing, swimming, eating ripe sweet

fruits. I was making him breakfast without hurry, and we had delicious dinner

every evening. Believe me or not he gained some weight. But lost it soon, when

we returned home to cold and rainy Seattle.
