Guest guest
There is an excellent article on the dangers of refined white sugar and honey at http://www.tribuneindia.com/2004/20040314/spectrum/main1.htm The author recommends that honey be only eaten in its raw state. If I eat honey at all, I like to buy the honeycomb, which contains all the consituents of the honey, the pollen, royal jelly, etc. The author mentions that " honey can be fatal to an infant whose immature digestive tracts are unable to deal effectively with Botulinum spore growth. " The author also states that in commercial honey, the enzymes are killed by cooking, and, if pesticides have been used on the crop, there will be pesticides found in the honey.
