hi nora... :)

please keep us posted on the oranges

we need to let the produce folks at the your local market that we want

quality

and are going elsewhere to get it

there's no sense eating the less than optimal produce in the stores when

good stuff can be delivered to our doors for the same price

 

i pasted in a message below from bob avery in michigan

i called these folks and the season is over :(

they aren't growers

perhaps one of our webmasters could post this information on the raw

seattle site for next year

 

btw...

dell from b'ham just made a food run to central market and bought back

some awesome hachiya persimmons

 

i was finding hachiyas brixing as high as 24 in the b'ham markets

i call it ''smiling food''
