I wholeheartedly agree that mental, physical, and spiritual lifestyle

changes are the hard part about living a raw lifestyle--especially in

Fort Worth. This place is known as " fat city, Texas " and nobody here

has any inclination to experiment with anything more spiritual than

eating pizza!

Actually, I'm angry with myself today because I woke up at 5:30 a.m.

with the intention to go raw and by 9:30 a.m. I was eating pancakes,

butter and syrup!

It seems that every time I try to do anything more spiritual than

eating here in Fort Worth I find myself Persona Nongrata. My boss is

400 lbs. His boss is 350! The people I work with as a bus driver

are between 300 and 500 lbs! I hate myself more than I hate them for

getting myself into this situation!

I can't change everything at once, but the lifestyle change I would

like to make is to begin eating raw fruits and veggies first and then

look into career and lifestyle changes when I get a little more

sanity than I have today.

Thanks for letting me dump on this site.

to add to ron koenig mentioning the benefit of a support group....

i am glad that while i was transitioning i was living alone. in a city

where there are many places to get organic produce. and many progressive,

compasionate people to interact with and learn from. if i was living with

my parents or others who don't resonate with raw foodism, then i would have

very negative influences in my own home, or close by.

it might make life easier and happier if you leave " fat city, Texas " for a

more conducive environment
