Holiday Raw Culinary Presentation

& Live Foods Feast

You are invited to experience the lively and informative talents of Chefs Karen

Parker and Bruce Horowitz as they create gourmet holiday dishes and desserts in

an all-day culinary intensive.

 

Whether you new to raw foods and would like to learn basic ideas for

optimally healthy eating, or if you'd like to give to yourself and your loved

ones the gift of gourmet living foods this holiday season, this is the class for

you.

 

This outrageously yummy feast is low-starch, high-protein and Certified Organic.

All food items are MEAT- & DAIRY-FREE, and DO NOT CONTAIN soy or corn.

 

The COURSE MENU INCLDES:

 

Triple-Herbed 'Turkey' with Crimini Medallions

 

White Truffle Cream Cheese Enveloped in strips of mock Smoked Maple Bacon,

served with

Chipotle Cranberry Sauce

 

Savory Sage Stuffing with Garlicky ‘White Wine’ Gravy

 

Whipped Mashed 'Potatoes'

 

Caramel Apple Cobbler

 

Spiced Pumpkin Crepes with Hazelnut Fudge Filling

 

Warm Hemp-Infused Mesquite Chai Lattes

 

In addition to the experiential array of high notes that play along the palette,

you will learn a variety of time-saving tips and chef secrets for gourmet raw

food presentation, dehydration and flavor balancing.

 

Your facilitators are professionally-trained Living Food Chefs with a cumulative

10 years of instruction in the vegetarian culinary arts. Meet them:

 

Karen Parker

 

Former Master Chef and Culinary Consultant, Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center, the Live Food Chef Apprenticeship Program, Lead Instructor for the

Masters Program in Live Vegan Nutrition, and founder of Sun Raw, Seattle. Karen

has trained some of the

most up-and-coming raw food chefs in the country, and is a leading authority on

Dr. Gabriel Cousens' Rainbow Green Live Food Cuisine. She has been a

contributing author to several recipe books, and a columnist for the European

healthy eating journal Get Fresh!

 

Bruce Horowitz

 

Former Executive Chef at the world's first raw food restaurant- Juliano's RAW,

San Francisco, Owner of The Sun Kitchen, Founder of the Raw Chefs Collective,

Author of The Raw Revolution: The Eat Green Sustainable Living Guide

 

We hope you are able to join us, as we are only offering this class ONE TIME in

2003.

 

LOCATION: WIND OF GRACE

1323 13th Ave South at the north tip of Beacon Hill in Seattle, Washington.

This is a beautiful, expanisve space that is conducive to a culinary

presentation.

 

PRICE: PRE-PAY $100 (contact us by or before October 25), $125 at the door.

FEAST-ONLY: $35 (Note: those who take the course ALSO GET to eat at the Feast

at no additional charge. If you cannot stay for the feast, bring a to-go

container with you to the class.)

 

TIME: 12 Noon to 6:00 pm for Class

6:30pm to 8:00pm for Feast Only
