Guest guest
How did you like Victoria's event? Any discussion? WOW! What a turnout. Victoria has finally outgrown that venue. It's time to find another. If you have any ideas, let me know! How wonderful-- We had 50+ people. THere were not enough chairs! :-) Linda
Guest guest
The first place to come to mind as a rental would be the Graham Visitors Center at the Washington Park Arboretum. The center is available for rental for $500 to $900 per social event. The specifics on rental can be found at http://depts.washington.edu/wpa/facility.htm. There's plenty of nature around it for those who want to hike before or after any event. Guest guest
I know that Miller Community Center (on Capitol Hill) is generally available. It has small, medium, and large rooms, along with a large kitchen. Here is the website http://www.cityofseattle.net/parks/Reservations/rentalGuide/reservations.htm . There are a couple of others within the Parks system that are also as diverse. ~M'isa RawSeattle , "Linda Reeves" <heartsong98136@h...> wrote:> How did you like Victoria's event? Guest guest
I would try renting classroom or auditorium space at Bastyr University thru their special events department. Some of their classrooms are quite large. Also, they have kitchen space both in their cafeteria & a very nice nutrition department kitchen. Here's a link to their conference services: http://www.bastyr.edu/conference/ Also, Lake Washington Technical College or one of the other many schools in the area might be willing to rent out space, as well as synagogues & churches. Lake WA Tech has kitchen space both in their cafeteria & their culinary arts program. I don't know if they rent it out, but it's worth asking. ~Amy Ron Koenig <ron.koenig wrote: The first place to come to mind as a rental would be the Graham Visitors Center at the Washington Park Arboretum.
