Guest guest
Hi all, I wanted to repeat some of the things Loren said at the Friday night potluck. It was all things I have heard from others before, but it may be new to someone else reading this forum. To have optimum health, you have to have the optimum diet and lifestyle. Many " authorities " have made changes to improve their diet and lifestyle and have written books about it, assuming since it worked for them, it will work for everyone. Any improvement made in diet and lifestyle will benefit the body in its continuing effort to maintain health, but to have the best health, we must do our best in diet and lifestyle. For me and for all of us, it is a continuous learning experience. Fasting speeds up the cleansing and healing process in achieving optimum health. Loren really emphasized the importance of water fasting. If you are going to fast for an extended time, you really must have supervision so that you don't overdo it. Diets don't heal us. When we stop putting in the things that stres the body and create disease, the body will begin the healing process. Keep the diet simple. Too many combinations will tax digestion and lower your energy level. Have a happy and healthy summer everyone.
