Guest guest
I just received this from Rawmona. If anyone has some time and would like to share an email with her about our raw community and what it means to you, it may help to educate people about the lifestyle, especially if she stops in to one of our potlucks! Jeff In this mornings paper there is a food columnist who has requested emails from food communities and I thought this may be a good time for the raw panel to add their input. " We experience the community of food in little ways everyday. It could be dinner with friends or shopping regularly at a particular market. Perhaps it's going to the farmers market and buying from certain stalls or contributing to online food message boards. What re the connections you make? How do you build a sense of community through food? What does " community " mean to you? Share your thoughts and anecdotes in an email or a series of emails. I can be reached at <hsiaochingchouhsiaochingchou. Can't wait to hear from you. Guest guest
I did check out the link Jeff supplied and sent the following e-mail earlier today: Dear Hsiao-Ching, For some of us, food is one of our primary methods of keeping and maintaining optimum health. We choose for all or most of our food to be raw vegan food, alive with energy and healing. We have formed a group called RawSeattle, and interact through a message board on and through members hosting potlucks and events. For me personally, food is not about fixing emotional issues or just bringing temporary pleasure to the senses of taste and smell, it is providing the best nourishment possible so I can enjoy life to the fullest, free of disease. It is about supporting growers who provide a product free of pesticides and in a way that supports and respects the earth. Sincerely, Ron Koenig RawSeattle , " Jeff Rogers " <jeff@t...> wrote: > I just received this from Rawmona.
