Guest guest
Hi all. Check out the photo link on the left. Last night was raw family reunion for a couple people. Trudy Olson from Olympia surprised us, after her extended stay 'down under " . Also, Paula Belcher joined us, 2 weeks before her baby is due, from Portland. We showered her with some gifts and well wishes for her baby to be born at home with a water birth and midwife. Go girl! We are anxious to hear about this experience! We also wished happy birthday to a few people. There were a handful of sign-ups for Richard's raw food support group he's starting up in a couple weeks. Some folks enjoyed watching the 20 min. Pottinger Cat Research video. Ask Sue Aberle for more info. Hopefully, she will continue bringing it to potlucks. A very fascinating 10 year cat study on how raw food vs. cooked food affected them. What a glorious day for the hike to Lincoln Park with 11 people. We had the largest crowd of hikers yet. Orion decided to take a dip in the Sound! Some of us (yours truly) were so hot when we got back that we sat outside on a blanket, barefoot, cooling off. Summer is coming---- Thanks to all the folks that came and shared their stories with all the new folks that arrived....that number keeps growing. We must have had about 25-30 people show. ( I never counted). Wonderful food and a great time. I hope this month sees weekly potlucks like last month! There seems to be a great demand for the support right now. Any volunteers? Until next time--- stay peaceful Heartsong (Linda)
Guest guest
Hi Linda, Sounds like the pot luck was as usual a success. I was sorry I could not be there this time. Family get together prevented my attending this wonderful new found family of support folks. How do I reach Richard to sign up for the 12 Step support group? I can come on Wednesday evenings only if that is the night he gets the most inquiries about. Your help will be most appreciated. Take care. Peace and blessings to you, Sonia
