Organic Raw Hemp Powder

Greetings All-

 

For those of you who might be interested, I have been experimenting

with the addition of a recent hemp protein product from a Canadian

company called Ancient Harvest. Unlike the usual lab-constucted

white amino acid powder, this is a raw, organic, non-gmo, hulled hemp

seed which is dark green in color & " grainy " in texture, & has more

than just its protein component- in fact, although the protein

constituent is larger than the other macronutrients, it's more like a

ground meal, & does not give me that overstimulated feeling.

 

I've been putting it into my morning green drink for the past two

weeks, & can say that it feels very nourishing & sustaining. I am

NOT a slow oxidizer, & do not do well on just sweet juicy fruit alone

(in fact, I'll bonk within an hour most of the time with an insulin

reaction), so do better on greens, non-sweet fruits, & more fatty

foods.

 

If any of you are like that, or just interested in getting some good

quality hemp into your system, let me know, as I am trying to

negotiate a price break for case amounts, & would pass along the

savings to anyone in the group.

 

The current posted price is $17.00 for a 750 gm. bag; Nature's First

Law is selling the same stuff (which they said they by direct from

Ancient Harvest)for $30.00. I just received an email from Ash at AH,

& they said their prices were going up; here's the comment:

 

" All prices have gone up to cover unexpected expenses that our

company did not forsee when starting out (I call it growing pains

In short, our price for a single bag has gone up from $17 to $25,

plus $8 S & H (Total of $33) .

 

Yes, we do offer discounts on cases (12 bags). In fact, to help ease

the increase in price, I will be offering many more " value packs "

that give % discounts and save money on shipping. A case of protein

will be approximately $275.50 (that's a 10% discount) + $22 S & H

(Total $297.50) which brings the price per bag down to $25. "

 

Anyway, my point is this: is there any interest out there for such a

product? I am fine with just getting it for myself, but if there's a

demand, it would be good to know.
