Guest guest
Could someone bring a refractometer to Linda's upcoming potluck? I would like to see what they look like and how they are used. I think it would be a great idea to suggest that the produce manager at PCC where I shop post refractometer readings for the fruit they sell. Guest guest
Funny you should mention that, I bought one and it is on its way, I plan on taking it to work and having all kinds of fun, in hopes they might want one on site. Monte @ PCC Fremonte Forgive this shameless plug, but I am really excited about our new store that will hopefully be open before solstice! The PCC Annual meeting will be held there on April 27th. It will be a chance to check things out ahead of time. http://www.pccnaturalmarkets.com/member/annualmtg.html
Guest guest
I will. Actually I had offered to always bring my refractometer to potlucks and I brought it a few times but nobody ever asked me about it. It may be difficult for PCC to post brix readings for all the fruit they sell. The quality of food in one box varies a bit. They would have to cut open several for sample.
