The Peruvian olives are in!

Hey gang!

 

I got the shipment in today. I'll bring the jars to tomorrow's

potluck at Ron's.

 

I tried these unsalted, non-oiled, uncured, certified organic olives,

and they're good! :-) They have a slight bitter taste, but it's a

good bitterness, hard to describe. Their whole flavor is pretty

satisfying, at least to me. I ate about 20 of them right after

opening the first box. :-) They're also pretty naturally oily as is,

with a good chewy consistency too. Some are drier and some are more

moist. They look like giant raisins, or on the other hand, miniature

prunes. All of this is just to give you a (virtual) taste of what's

to come. For the real thing, sample them at the potluck. :-)

Eric,

I won't be able to go to potluck tomorrow. Could you save my two jars? I'll

pick them up at next potluck at Linda's.
