Guest guest
Good reminders, Nora. I didn't even think to mention, that I use very little soap, opting instead just to use a wet washcloth on most of my body. I also use a very small amount of shampoo (not enough to lather.) Soap can remove the body's oils, as well as a lot of hot water, like Nora mentioned. Even the washcloth will remove some, but soaps would just worsen it. I do warm the bathroom with a small heater. In a cold bathroom I tend to keep the water on more to stay warm. I use the heater primarily to save water. I also installed a switch above the shower head, so I can turn the water off when I am not rinsing, saving water and retaining the right temperature. These are available at hardware stores for a few bucks. Jeff
