Wow! This seems odd. Isn't tapioca usually made with milk, eggs, and

sugar? (Which definitely would be alkalizing.) Or did she have some

other method of preparing it?

I'm not sure how she prepared it, probably with some soymilk. Maybe a

dash of maple syrup. I certainly wouldn't recommend dairy and eggs.

In an effort to maximize benefit (and reduce cooked ingredients),

perhaps a person could soak the tapioca and blend in some nutmilk and

dates. I suspect the tapioca has already been heated when we we

purchase it in a store.
