It is nice to hear from you. Can you tell us a little about yourself and how

you are interested in raw? AND of course, how we can support you? I hope to

see you at a potluck soon.

peace and blessings,

Linda,

I got interested in raw foods last Dec when I was at Barbara Brennan School of Healing and there was a rawfoods caterer that delivered meals for the week. I am a senior at BBSH and am in the whole process of self healing especially for my physical body. I am a professional Aikido teacher with a school in Kirkland (AIkido Northshore) so having a healthy physical body is essential. Last year I did an intensive detox but not including lots of raw foods because I still believed that I needed meat to train as I do. However, after the week of raw in Dec of 02 I am convinced raw is the way to go. I do allow myself about 5-10% cooked food but no meat or white sugar, flour products etc. This gives me a little room for traveling but mainly to help with the mental aspect of being too rigid. I am finding that it is easier and easier to choose raw especially as I make new creations and try new food. I had never had durian. What an amazing fruit. I feel it will be a gradual process to give up the last 5-10% but I'm sure it will steadily decrease to 100% raw. Thanks for letting me know about the support system. What is nice for me is hearing the recipes and also what you guys eat on a daily basis for some guidelines. Thanks for the welcome.
