Guest guest
Looks like it's going to be Friday for the discussion group. So far we've got three people, would like to have a couple more, but we can do it with the five of us (including me and Robert). I expect more will sign up later. I'll provide more info here as necessary, if anybody has questions. Yeah, I talked to Frederic too, and he told me the same thing. I don't think it would be a problem covering his expenses, considering we could put him up somewhere and find a volunteer to get him around. We'd just have to find out how much interest there is, and see how much he would charge each person in order to calculate how many people we'd need, plus there's always the potential for book sales of course. How much can a plane ticket cost, a few hundred? So how about it, gang, is there enough interest? I have no way of knowing what kind of presentation he would give, whether it would be all day or a couple hours or a full weekend. May seems so far away, but if we're going to do it we should start putting things together soon. I'll contact him if enough people respond favorably to this message. I think we should take advantage of the fact that he's willing to do it for expenses only.
