Attend any functions that are of interest to you. We don't normally have any near downtown, although that is only because no-one has hosted one there. We occasionally have an event, such as a class, at the Cascade Peoples Center (309 Pontius, Seattle). That's about the closest we have been to downtown. Hopefully some of our events are easily accessible by bus/bike. If you are interested in an event, you are also welcome to post to this list looking to carpool. Hopefully, we'll see you at an event. Apparently, the Boutenkos (http://www.rawfamily.com) will be here in February for a workshop and they usually use the Cascade ctr.
