**thank you Amy for your comments!

It's been a long time since we've heard from you. I'm so glad you are still

around!

Since I am new to raw food and am only part time raw I would like to learn

more and would find it helpful to hear more about others' experiences with

the transition, more simple, tasty basic recipes, any special deals on

organic fruit, veggies, nuts, etc.

**this is quite a list. Can you ask a more specific question? I would be

happy to help. Perhaps if you could relate your situation, you would get a

variety of responses for you to select from. :-)

The potlucks are not convenient for me since I do not live in Seattle,

although I want to get to the West Seattle one soon.

** Do you still live on queen Anne?

I am open to reading about closely related issues - or if someone has

something to sell.

Most of you seem to be a fairly tight knit group - it is great that you are

friends and support each other but I have not felt welcomed as a newcomber,

it seems like the list is mainly for the insiders.

** It sounds like you would like to feel more included? What would that look

and feel like for you?

I perceive a number of messages as judgemental and they don't encourage me

to engage in discussion.

** True enough.

I would prefer to to an article instead of scrolling through

an article I don't have time to read or am not interested in reading. Since

I receive the digest version of the messages I find it annoying when someone

replies directly to the previous message without deleting that message. It

makes for a very long list of duplicate messages to scroll through to find

the new ones.

** Yes. This takes awareness and education.

I would also encourage people to reply directly to the sender when your

response is not relevant to the entire group.

** good point.

Finally, I think the idea of the raw Seattle list is a good one and I have

picked up some bits and pieces of useful information and stories. But I

have also had a fair bit of dissatisfaction with the list. I have thought

about unsubscribing for some time now but I hold on to the hope that the

list will refocus more on raw food and that people will be mindful of how

they send messages and treat each other. I hope this feedback is useful.

Amy

** Your feedback is most incredibly useful. Thank you so much for stepping

forward. I'm looking forward to hearing more from you. :-)

Happy New Year-- peace and blessings, Linda
