Guest guest
Good point. I wasn't thinking about the sorting through of unwanted messages. It sounds like the main concern of Niz is the lack of interesting raw food discussions, which are more than welcome here. We can certainly have additional lists to separate the various categories of emails. If one doesn't want to read emails of potlucks one day and receives an email from [RSPotlucks] (Raw Seattle potlucks) they can be ignored or deleted, much easier than having to read text then decide. If this will make life easier for people (and it sounds like it will) then we should do it. This topic had been addressed last year (being that it is now 2003!), but was never solved. So, what topics would we like? RawSeattlePotlucks (or RSPotlucks) (for potluck discussions) RawSeattlePhylosophy (raw food phylosophy) (may overlap " nutrition " ) RawSeattleOrganization (or Politics) (for addressing organization issues, such as co-ops, tabling, flyers, etc.) RawSeattleNutrition (nutrition/health discussions) RawSeattle (what would this existing list be for? RawSeattleRecipes (for members to share raw recipes) what else? We could leave out " Seattle " from some of the list names (if the list names are available! ex: RawPhylosophy or RawFoodPhylosophy) as some do not require one to be from the Seattle area. Jeff >I understand where Niz and maybe some others are coming from: you >want information and discussion on the raw diet and nutrition, and >don't want to sort through messages not treating such topics. That >concern is completely understandable, sensible, and valid.
