Guest guest
In the January 2003 issue of Vogue on p. 32 " How did Donna [Karan] become so trim-'n'-slim? By following a raw- food diet. No, not plain old crudités (which, everyone knows, get you nowhere but back to a crave-crush, anyway). Donna's raw food lifestyle is more intriguing. She relies on a private raw-food chef named Jill Pettijohn, who advocates, 'Life Food,' a philosophical nutrition program that is all about eating 'living calories.' The cardinal rule? Never heat anything on the stove above 108 degrees! (Pettijohn says living-calorie intake can even spur new cell growth.) " It will be interesting to watch to see if Vogue does any further articles on living foods in the new year. This blurb ought to generate some interest.
