Guest guest
Hi Joe, While certainly does have bugs I don't think the problems you've been experiencing are related to their service. The primary reason being things have been working fine for everyone else during the same time frame. runs the second largest web based e-mail service on the internet and I'm willing to believe that they are next to flawless at sending and receiving e-mails (your posts). I would start with the easiest solution first. Log into our Groups website and check your user preferences and make sure you're configured to receive the posts via e-mail. There is an option, one I personally have elected to use that let's you just visit the site and read the posts when you want to. You should make sure that this option is disabled. Other Possibilities: Another consideration is that you might not be receiving your Groups e-mail, because of some e-mail filtration by your mail server or e-mail reader. You should look into both. If you use a web based e-mail service then your job will automatically be easier, because you won't have to check your e-mail reader as well. If you have a non web-based, POP3 e-mail account then you're job will be slightly more difficult. You'd want to start by sending out a post to the Group using a different e-mail reader and while using the same reader check to see if your post and its responses arrive. If you experience the same problem then it is most likely your e-mail provider and you'd need to contact them directly. Regardless of whether or not you use a pay e-mail service you will most likely be able to get some technical support for this issue. Whether in your e- mail reader, or on a web based e-mail service scour your settings and make sure that you have all junk mail filtration disabled and see if that doesn't make your Groups e-mails arrive without issue. If you can't figure it out and are tired with messing with it then you might try one of two easy solutions: 1. Easiest: Just visit the website, read and write your posts from there after logging in 2. More Difficult: create a based web mail account and interact with the rest of us through there. Using multiple tools from the same provider often has its advantages. Good Luck. I'm sure you'll get things working one way or another, Christian Blackburn
