Guest guest Posted December 21, 2002 Report Share Posted December 21, 2002 Just a note to let everyone know that Robert will be coming to Eric's potluck tomorrow evening (I'll be out of town), and will be bringing lots of persimmons to sell. $.25 each. Proceeds will be used to send books to our aspiring raw fooder friend in Poland, and make copies of the brochure (they are flying off the board at Issaquah PCC, 40 copies taken so far!). For those who might have a surplus of ripe persimmons on hand , we just discovered persimmon ice cream yesterday. Freeze very ripe persimmons in plastic containers then run them through a Champion juicer w/ the solid plate. It comes out looking exactly like orange sherbet and tastes even better than banana ice cream!
