Please note that there will be a separate raw-food section at EarthSave Seattle's upcoming Thanksgiving celebration. See below for more information about the event. I hope that you can attend and also bring a non-perishable vegan/vegetarian item to contribute to the food drive!

EarthSave Seattle's Turkey-Free Thanksgiving Potluck and Food Drive!Venue: Scottish Rite Masonic Center, 1155 Broadway East, Capitol HillSunday, November 24thTime: Doors open at 4:00 PM; potluck dinner at 5:30 PM; live musical entertainment (by Dana Lyons!) at 7:00 PMAdmission: $6 to $10 per adult (as you can afford); FREE for kids under 12

Tickets may be purchased at the door. They may also be purchased in advance from Madison Market or (securely) from www.EarthSaveSeattle.org/ThanksgivingAn annual EarthSave Seattle feature, this festive event is open to the public. Simply bring your favorite animal-product-free dish to share and enjoy an evening of delicious food, live music, and fun!Please also consider bringing a non-perishable vegan or vegetarian food item to donate to a food drive being organized in conjunction with the event. The items may also be dropped off at a special food bin at Madison Market. The collected foodstuffs will be distributed on Thanksgiving day to people in need in the Seattle area.Live musical entertainment at the event will be provided by the popular singer-songwriter Dana Lyons. Dana is currently on a road tour in Ireland. His music, including songs from the chart-busting "Cows With Guns" album, may be sampled at www.DanaLyons.com.In addition, there will be door prizes, product displays, book sales and promotions, literature tables, and a children's corner at the event. There will also be a separate raw-foods table. In consideration of people with allergies and special dietary restrictions, please label all ingredients.
