I also use Living Tree's olive oil, tahini, and nut butters. I was surprised that a post on this message group said that Rejeuvenative and Nature's First Law have the only raw almond butters. I've found Jesse to be honest and forthright and I believe him when he says his almond butter is raw. Has someone found that not to be true? I know that I don't have the same cravings after eating the Living Tree almond butter that I do with some of the others. The Living Tree olives are good. Not as salty to my taste as the ones from Nature's First Law. Annette

Something about the seeds have to be heated during removal of the husk. I cannot reveal the source of the comment on raw almond butter because it was said to me in person, and I am not sure it it was meant to be for the public. Lets just say it was a very trustworthy source. I was told that Living Tree community Almond butter is heated to a high temp (250 degrees)during processing. I have also found that their raw cashews and raw cashew butter are not raw.
