Hi All,

Earthsave is hosting a World Vegetarian Day Celebration this Saturday

evening, featuring a talk by Ruth Heidrich, PhD, breast cancer survivor and

vegan marathon runner. As mentioned in a previous posting, Earthsave has been

kind enough to help promote RawSeattle and the upcoming Loren Lockman

presentation (tentatively set for November 17, more info to come later) by

including our flyer in a packet that will be given to each attendee. It was

originally hoped that RawSeattle might be able to do some tabling at this

event, since there seems to be a good deal of interest in raw food among

Earthsavers. Earthsave was only able to offer table space to corporate

sponsors, however, at a cost of $500. Since our organization (I use the term

loosely :) ) doesn't generate revenue, it was obviously not feasible for us to

participate in that way. We are grateful to Earthsave for including us in

their info packet. If anyone is interested in seeing the flyer, let me know

and I can email it to you. Below is some more information about the upcoming

event. Hope to see you there!
